“UNTC” LLC and MAPSA (Iran) signed an agreement on long-term cooperation

On April 22, 2014 the negotiations between “UNTC” LLC and MAPSA (Iran) were held – Iranian side was represented by Abdolhosseyn Sharifi, the Director General of MAPSA and Jamshid Rudsaz, Head of Core Analysis Department.

The meeting resulted in a cooperation agreement in the field of pilot works on the removal of asphalt, resin, and paraffin deposits in wells of the Islamic Republic of Iran, laboratory reagents selection, analysis of core and reservoir fluids.

The questions of creating the joint EOR projects in the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran were also touched upon. Including – creation of a joint research laboratory initially located in the Russian Federation. One of the goals of this center will be training of Iranian specialists.
